The National Centre for Marketing and Price Study strengthens business links between Belarus and Russia’s Central Region
At the invitation of Kursk region Government the delegation of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study visited Svoboda Village of Kursk Region where close to the famous orthodox monastery, Russia’s third in order of importance spiritual center, XII Interregional Wholesale and Retail Kursk Korensk Fair was held.
Korensk Fair is the main exhibition event in Kursk region widely known far beyond. The fair traditionally attracts business entities and representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries, Russian Federation regions. This year the trade fair was large-scale and spectacular, rich in various business events. It attracted over 1400 participants. There was a considerable growth both in a number of expositions presented by Kursk region districts and twin cities and participants from Ukraine, Bulgaria and Belarus. Our country was represented by about 50 economic entities.
The special status of the present trade fair was given by the Mid-Russian Economic Forum held in Kursk region for the first time. As a number of guests and participants noted, the forum proved to be a remarkable event in Central Russia. It gathered prominent Russian and foreign politicians, public figures, experts, top companies leaders, bankers, business community representatives, etc.. The Mid-Russian Economic Forum provided an opportunity both to partake in interesting discussions dedicated to development trends of the stated Russian region, and evaluate presented investment projects, innovative investigations, scientific achievements and prospective programs implemented by Russian and foreign manufacturers, institutions and organizations.
The visit to Kursk Korensk Fair resulted in Cooperation Agreement signing between the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study and Kursk region Government aimed at trade and economic links development between Belarus and Russia’s Central region.
