The National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Croatia signed Memorandum of understanding

A Memorandum of Understanding between the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Croatia was signed in Minsk on the 17th of July. The documents provides for cooperation in the field of information exchange and rendering marketing services to economic entities of the two countries.

According to Boris Smolkin, the Director of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study, a number of business propositions from local enterprises to promote Belarusian products to the Croatian market and markets of neighbouring states as well as the data on the demand of Belarusian manufacturers for the purchase of equipment, materials and goods will be sent to Croatia. The Parties intend to cooperate in the field of training and probation of employees, joint exhibition activities, arrangement of business visits and seminars.

In his turn, Sani Ljubunčič, the Director General of the Croatian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency expressed Croatian businessmen interest in setting up business activities in the Belarusian market. “We are ready to inform our business organisations about joint investment projects which can be implemented in Belarus. The correspondent information will be placed on our organisation website,”the Croatian guest noted. According to him, the list of companies and the information about tenders held in Croatia will be sent to the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study at an early date.

The Parties believe that the outlined plans will encourage the search for new business partners and the increase in commodity turnover between our countries.
