14 April

On April 13, 2018 the National Centre for Marketing held an online videoconference with participation of experts from the Swedish Environmental Research Institute in the “challenge-response” format with connection of the branches of the NCMPS.

Representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and its subordinate organizations took part in this event.

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Korbut informed the Swedish participants of the videoconference about the interest of our country in implementing new recycling technologies, which are successfully applied in Sweden.

During the videoconference the participants exchanged their opinions and experience on utilization of solid municipal waste, issues of collecting and neutralizing medical waste, production and implementation of RDF-fuel (fuel, which consists of the remaining waste after sorting) and legal regulations of environmental issues in Sweden.

Background information: the format of online videoconferences with the possibility of connection for foreign companies, the head office of the NCMPS in Minsk and its branches in every regional centre of Belarus proved itself to be successful. It provides an opportunity to establish direct dialogue between Belarusian official and business circles and foreign partners. The NCMPS will continue the practice of conducting online videoconferences with participation of Belarusian and foreign entities.
