Belarusian-Ukrainian seminar on cooperation in the field of agriculture

On September 16 this year, the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs organized a seminar on the topic “Agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus. Go-to-Market Tools and Strategies ”.

The seminar was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus Igor Kizim.

Director of the National Marketing Center Valery Sadokho presented materials about the mechanisms for entering the Belarusian market, the conditions for creating enterprises with foreign capital and the possibilities of the Export.by portal.

The head of the educational center Natalia Tyshkevich acquainted Ukrainian companies with the terms of participation in the procurement procedures, and the Head of the main department of foreign economic activity (Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus) Ksenia Meleshko made an extended presentation of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus.

All the participants of the seminar noted that despite the negative aspects of bilateral relations, the Belarusian-Ukrainian business should develop and progress.

For reference: in January-June 2021 the trade turnover between Belarus and Ukraine increased by 38%. Ukraine is the second, after the Russian Federation, trade partner of the Republic of Belarus.
