A forum of business representatives from Belarus and the Chelyabinsk region was held in Minsk
On December 19, Minsk hosted a business forum of business representatives from Belarus and the Chelyabinsk region (Russian Federation).
The event was attended by Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich, Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region of the Russian Federation Yegor Kovalchuk, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus Yuri Zolotarev.
Director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Sadokho made a presentation of development and support tools for bilateral trade and economic cooperation, and spoke about the participation of Russian companies in procurement procedures in the Republic of Belarus. Valery Sadoho also noted that according to the Export.by portal, more than 920 Belarusian companies are already operating in the Russian Federation, more than 240 Belarusian companies have representative offices in Russia and more than 1300 companies are interested in cooperating with Russian partners.
A business contacts exchange was held, in which Chelyabinsk enterprises specializing in the production of automobiles, special equipment, elevator equipment, instrumentation products for automatic control and management systems, equipment and components for the oil and gas industry, metal products, and also a logistics company took part.
The Belarusian side was represented by such enterprises as Belneftekhim concern, BATE OJSC, Minsk Automobile Plant OJSC, Minsk Tractor Plant OJSC, Minsk Bearing Plant OJSC, Mogilev Elevator Engineering Plant OJSC, Borisovsky assembly plant OJSC and others.
The business forum was organized by the National Center for Marketing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus together with the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
