The Head of the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing Natalya Tyshkevich in her interview with «Narodnaya Gazeta» highlighted the changes, which the participants of procedures in the field of public procurements are expecting from July 1

Natalya Tyshkevich, the Head of the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing, spoke about the changes, which the participants of public procurements would face due to the entry into force of the new version of the law «on public procurement of goods (works, services)» on July 1, 2019.

According to «Narodnaya Gazeta», the new law on public procurements provides detailed description of the features of public procurements with the participation of small and medium-sized businesses. The volume of public procurements will be divided into certain parts (lots). Only small and medium-sized businesses that offer goods (works, services) of their own production will be able to act as participants in the procedure of public procurement for such lots.

«We are not talking about a fundamental change in the basic principles of procurements. However, the system itself is changing. Almost all stages of this process are transformed into electronic format, which corresponds to global trends in this area. In principle, the existing system of electronic procurements is one of the most progressive in the CIS. But there are even more exciting prospects ahead. And economic entities should be ready for them», Natalia Tyshkevich said.
