The national exposition of the Republic of Belarus will be presented at the industrial exhibition in Riga
For the third year in a row, representatives of leading Belarusian industrial enterprises will become participants in the largest event in the Baltics in the field of metalworking and mechanical engineering. Tech Industry, the international specialized exhibition of materials and technologies for industrial production, engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics, electrical engineering and tools, will be held in Riga (Latvia) on November 28 - 30, 2019.
This year, in addition to industrial enterprises, leading enterprises and organizations of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belneftekhim concern, and others will take part in the National Exposition.
Tech Industry, with a total area of 16,000 m², is the largest industry exhibition not only in the Baltic States, but also in Western and Eastern Europe, the CIS and other regions. The exhibition attracts more than 270 enterprises from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden and other countries.
The organizer of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at Tech Industry is traditionally the National Center for Marketing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Latvia.
On November 29, a Belarusian-Latvian business forum will be held. The program of the event provides for the presentation of the export potential of the Republic of Belarus and the companies participating in the National Exposition, as well as B2B negotiations of Belarusian enterprises with representatives of the Latvian business community. From the Latvian side, representatives of relevant ministries and business communities are planning to participate in the forum. The working language is Russian. Latvia is traditionally one of Belarus’s most important trading partners and investors, and is also the largest transit corridor for Belarusian exports to third countries. Belarusian exports to Latvia increased by 39% in 2018 and amounted to more than 485 million US dollars. The export structure is dominated by products of the chemical and food industries, engineering, metallurgy, woodworking, etc.
