The National Center for Marketing and the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On June 23, 2021, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. On the Ukrainian side, the Memorandum was signed by the head of the union, Anatoly Kinakh.

The signing took place within the framework of an online seminar dedicated to the entry of Ukrainian companies into the Belarusian market. The event was organized with the aim of developing a strategy and business solutions for trade and economic interaction between our countries. More than 40 organizations, members of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, took part in the seminar. The participants were welcomed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus Igor Kizim.

Director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Sadokho, in turn, stressed that Ukraine is an important partner for Belarus and the trade turnover between our countries is estimated at billions of US dollars. “There are important trade niches, for example, the automotive industry, in which our economies have achieved sustainable interaction. Despite these achievements, we must move forward together with the business community to intensify trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Belarus."

Valeriy Sadokho also noted that a number of Belarusian enterprises have assembly plants on the territory of Ukraine and the task of the seminar includes, among other things, discussing the possibilities and conditions for creating joint ventures on the territory of Belarus.

Ukrainian businessmen were introduced to the mechanisms for the development of economic activity of foreign companies with Belarusian partners, effective tools for studying the Belarusian market and the possibilities of the Export.by portal. The topic of the participation of Ukrainian companies in procurement in the Republic of Belarus acquired particular relevance at the seminar.
