The National Centre for Marketing signed a Memorandum on trade and economic cooperation in Geneva
On April 8, a Memorandum on trade and economic cooperation between the National Centre for Marketing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed in Geneva.
The Belarusian side was represented by the Director of the National Centre for Marketing Valery Sadokho, the Swiss side was represented by the Managing Director of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dorit Sallis. The Memorandum was signed within the framework of the Belarusian-Swiss business forum «Doing Business in Belarus: Opportunities for Swiss companies» (April 8-9).
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei and the Deputy Minister of Economy of Belarus Elena Perminova addressed the participants of the business forum with a welcoming speech.
The Belarusian delegation also included representatives of the National Agency for Investments and Privatization of Belarus, the Belarusian Industrial Park «Great Stone» and the investment company UNITER. The event was attended by more than 50 Swiss manufacturing companies, investment funds and banks.
Valery Sadokho made a review of bilateral trade and export potential of Belarus. During the forum Belarusian delegates presented the business climate of our country, its export and investment potential, opportunities for large Swiss companies doing business in Belarus.
