National Marketing Center took part in the Belarusian-Polish webinar on economic cooperation
On February 18, with the participation of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, a discussion of the economic potential of Belarusian-Polish trade relations took place within the framework of the webinar “Polish-Belarusian Economic Cooperation: Opportunities and Limitations”. The event was initiated by the TK Business Exchange project (platform for the exchange of commercial information) with the support of the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The webinar was organized with the aim of promoting the expansion of the activities of Belarusian enterprises in foreign markets and improving the access of Polish enterprises to the Belarusian market.
Director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Sadokho informed the participants about the mechanisms for activating the Belarusian-Polish trade and economic cooperation. The speaker noted that mutually beneficial cooperation with Polish companies is carried out on an ongoing basis. The National Marketing Center organized the Belarusian-Polish Business Forum within the framework of the meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, the XI Forum of Polish Investors and other events for business circles, including the participation of collective expositions of Belarusian enterprises in Polish specialized exhibitions. The participation of Belarusian enterprises in the TT Warsaw International Tourism Fair is scheduled for November this year. In 2020, at the request of Belarusian enterprises, 7 marketing studies were carried out on the Polish market. 14 Polish companies are registered on the Export.by portal, 277 Belarusian companies operate on the Polish market, 843 Belarusian companies are interested in working on the Polish market, 46 companies have trade representatives in Poland. The director of the National Marketing Center, which is the operator of the leading electronic procurement sites, stressed that out of 41 resident countries participating in electronic procurement in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Poland ranks fourth in terms of the amount of contracts concluded. In 2020 alone, it summed up to almost 40 million euros.
"We invite Polish companies to actively use all the mechanisms offered by the National Marketing Center to activate trade and economic cooperation between our countries!" - said Valery Sadokho.
