The National Centre for Marketing took part in a seminar dedicated to support of business in the Eastern Partnership

Valery Sadokho, the Director of the National Centre for Marketing, took part in a seminar on organizing business support in the Eastern Partnership countries. The event was organized by the Belarusian Fund for the Financial Support of Entrepreneurs with the support of the International Trade Center.

The speaker made a review of the light industry of the Republic of Belarus. He noted that Belarus has a developed light industry, which is represented by more than 1600 enterprises, which employ more than 93 thousand people, providing about 4% of the total industrial production. Participants were presented with quantitative characteristics of the development of the industry, reflected in theses and diagrams. Particular attention was paid to the export of light industry products. Valery Sadokho noted that the National Centre for Marketing assists in the establishment and development of trade and economic relations between Belarusian and foreign partners, including small and medium enterprises, provides information support for exports, including with the help of the Portal Export.by, which was developed by the National Centre for Marketing.

The seminar was also attended by representatives of organizations supporting the small and medium enterprises of the Eastern Partnership countries. They discussed the features of providing financial and non-financial support to small and medium enterprises. Experts from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova also shared their experience in export facilitation and state support for holding exhibition events abroad.
