The National Centre for Marketing will organize the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the IEMA International Exhibition in Pakistan

The Republic of Belarus will become a participant in the International Exhibition “International Engineering & Machinery Asia Exhibition” (IEMA) in Lahore (Pakistan) for the first time. A comprehensive industrial exhibition will be held from September 26 to September 28, 2019. The organizer of the National Exposition of our country is the National Centre for Marketing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

IEMA is the largest exhibition event in the South Asian region to demonstrate the widest range in the field of industry: oil and gas, energy and metallurgy, machine-tool and automotive industries, electronics, digital technology and much more. The total exhibition area is about 60,000 square meters, at which over 200 participants presented their achievements in the field of industry last year.

Pakistan is one of the priority partners of the Republic of Belarus in the South Asia region. In 2018, trade between the countries amounted to about 50 million USD, including Belarus exports to Pakistan - 37 million USD. Both countries regularly exchange visits at high and highest levels, which resulted in provision of a number of significant preferences for establishing and developing cooperation between Belarusian and Pakistani enterprises. Participation in the IEMA international exhibition will increase the export volumes of already delivered product positions, as well as expand the product range not only in Pakistan, but also in the markets of the countries of South Asia.

The republican budget allocated annually to organize national expositions of the Republic of Belarus abroad will cover the cost of exhibition space for Belarusian participants.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the NCMPS will hold the Belarus-Pakistan business forum with the invitation of Pakistani federal and regional (Punjab province) government circles, as well as business communities in the region.
