The new issue of the «‎Export of Belarus» magazine is dedicated to the development of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China

The new issue of the «‎Export of Belarus» magazine is dedicated to the Belarusian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation and has been published in Chinese and English. Export-oriented Belarusian enterprises representing the food industry and agriculture, the petrochemical industry, education, logistics services, and the financial sector have posted information about their goods and services here.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China Yuri Senko told the magazine that in 2020, despite the pandemic, trade in goods and services between Belarus and China reached a historic maximum of $ 5.4 billion. China for the first time has become the second trade partner of Belarus after Russia. At the same time, the export of Belarusian products to China increased by 9.4%. Yuri Senko expressed confidence that the Belarusian exporters are capable of a difficult task to withstand high competition in the Chinese market.

The growth driver of Belarusian exports to China in 2020 was agricultural products, their exports almost doubled. Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Krupko told the publication about a significant increase in the supply of poultry meat, dairy products, rapeseed oil, beef, soybean oil, chocolate and confectionery products, alcoholic beverages.

The success of the largest joint project of the «Great Stone» industrial park was noted in an interview by the head of its administration, Alexander Yaroshenko. He drew attention to the fact that the park has one of the best conditions in the region for the work of investors. Today, more than 70 residents from 13 countries are registered here, investments exceed $ 670 million. About half of the residents are Chinese companies. In total, more than $ 190 million were invested in the implementation of projects by residents from the PRC. In particular, the flagships of the Belarusian and Chinese industries have successfully implemented joint projects: these are the MAZ-Weichai and FAST-MAZ plants. In the near future, the Zumlion plant will be put into operation.

Director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Sadokho expressed confidence that the mutually beneficial Belarusian-Chinese cooperation will continue to strengthen. He stressed that the National Marketing Center is ready to provide all-round assistance to both Belarusian and Chinese companies in establishing contacts and developing trade and economic relations.

The «‎Export of Belarus» magazine is distributed at major international events through the diplomatic missions of our country abroad. The task of the publication is to represent the export potential of Belarusian organizations and the republic as a whole in the markets of foreign countries.
