The National Centre for Marketing held a seminar in Minsk on public procurement in the health care system

On October 25, 2018 the National Centre for Marketing held a training seminar for organizations of Minsk and the Minsk region on the topic «Organization of procurement of goods (works, services) in healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus». 

At the seminar participants get information on such important topics as the legislative basis for the procurement of goods (works, services) by health care institutions of the Republic of Belarus; drawing up, approving and maintaining the annual public procurement plan; preparation and organization of the procurement procedure; single source procurement; competitive procurement procedures. 

The main mistakes that were made by customers during the procurement procedures were considered on practical cases and its actions were explained in case of a supplier’s refusal to fulfill its obligations, a dispute resolution procedure and an appeal of a customer’s decisions. 

In addition at the seminar lecturers of the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing paid attention to the procurement legislation presenting an overview of the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 17, 2017 No. 136-З «On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Belarus» On state procurement of goods (works, services)» which comes into force on 01.07.2019.

Such specialized seminars bring more practical benefits to our listeners: they get information on a specific topic have the opportunity to ask questions, clarify details, understand specific issues that arise during the procurement process in the health sector». 

The business event took place as part of a series of seminars for health care institutions, conducted by the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing. More than 30 representatives of various healthcare institutions of the Minsk and Minsk region became participants. Similar seminars have already been held in Grodno and Vitebsk.
