A seminar on public procurement was held for healthcare facilities by the branch of the National Centre for Marketing in Mogilev
On November 2, 2018 the branch of the National Centre for Marketing in Mogilev held a training seminar for organizations of Mogilev region on the topic «Organization of procurement of goods (works, services) in healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus».
The event was another in the cycle of training seminars on procurement which is held for healthcare facilities by the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing. The previous seminars in Grodno, Vitebsk and Minsk have already been highly appreciated by the participants.
At the seminar participants get information on such important topics as the legislative basis for the procurement of goods (works, services) by health care institutions of the Republic of Belarus; drawing up, approving and maintaining the annual public procurement plan; preparation and organization of the procurement procedure; single source procurement; competitive procurement procedures.
The main mistakes that were made by customers during the procurement procedures were considered on practical cases and its actions were explained in case of a supplier’s refusal to fulfill its obligations, a dispute resolution procedure and an appeal of a customer’s decisions.
In addition at the seminar lecturers of the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing paid attention to the procurement legislation presenting an overview of the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 17, 2017 No. 136-З «On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Belarus» On state procurement of goods (works, services)» which comes into force on 01.07.2019.
The number of participants in a specialized seminar increases each time that confirms the relevance of the topic and the quality of the material proposed by the Educational Centre of the National Centre for Marketing. In Mogilev 65 specialists from regional healthcare facilities took part in the seminar.
