The National Centre for Marketing organized seminars on new rules of public procurements

Training seminar about the new rules of procurements, which will come into force from July 1, 2019, was held on June 20 by the National Centre for Marketing. More than 80 representatives of Belarusian enterprises participated in the seminar held by the operator of the new electronic system GIAS.

The program of the seminar of the National Centre for Marketing is designed to be as efficiently as possible for its participants. It includes an overview of changes to the Law on Public Procurements. Experts provided explanations on regulatory issues, the process of conducting an annual plan of public procurements, deadlines for preparing and submitting proposals, competitive and non-competitive procurement procedures, electronic auctions, procurements from a single-source and from their own fund. Participants learned about the features of the procedures on electronic trading platforms, the basic requirements for the design and content of the tender documentation. Experts provided competent answers to all relevant issues related to changes in the system of public procurement.

Background information:

On July 1, 2019, a new version of the Law «On state procurements of goods (works, services)» will come into force. The state information and analytical public procurement management system (GIAS) will be launched. The National Centre for Marketing has been defined by the Government of the Republic of Belarus as the operator and developer of GIAS.
