The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the working team of the National Marketing Center

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Evdochenko visited the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim of discussing with the work team of the enterprise issues of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.

The First Deputy Minister made a substantive report on the main directions of development of export activities. He stressed that the Republic of Belarus is ready to advance into foreign markets as deeply as our foreign partners are ready for this. Andrei Evdochenko expressed the opinion that he sees the prospects for the growth of Belarusian exports in the creation of new high-tech industries and the expansion of the product range. He is convinced that for the successful development of export activities it is necessary to develop the production of those products that are in demand on the world market, an example of such products are Belarusian electric buses, certain types of meat and dairy products.

“Within the EAEU, we are trying to open new markets by concluding free trade agreements. Negotiations on the conclusion of an FTA with Singapore, as well as on the unification of the trade regime with Serbia, have been completed. Negotiations are ongoing with Israel, Egypt and India,” said the First Deputy Minister.

Andrei Evdochenko also expressed gratitude to the Foreign Ministry's National Marketing Center for its great contribution to the development of our country's export activities. Further, active communication with the team in the question-answer format took place.

The First Deputy Minister also had a conversation with the director of the National Marketing Center, Valery Sadokho. Issues related to information support of exports, the application of new approaches and tools to facilitate the promotion of Belarusian exports were discussed.
