Belarusian-Indonesian business event was held
On August 19, the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, together with the Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia and Indonesia Trade, Tourism and Investment Club (ITTIC), organized a Belarusian-Indonesian business event in the format of a videoconference, dedicated to the issues of bilateral cooperation of both countries in the agricultural and food industry.
The videoconference with a welcoming speech was opened by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia Valery Kolesnik, First Deputy Director of the National Marketing Center Alexander Zapolsky, representative of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries of Indonesia, Counselor of the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow Edi Suharto, Chairman of ITTIC Tito Loho.
The event was also attended by employees of the Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of Indonesian companies producing fishery products, spices, coffee, vegetables, medicinal herbs, as well as importing companies. Representatives of Babushkina Krynka OJSC, Savushkin Product OJSC, Bremino Group LLC, Lidakhleboprodukt OJSC spoke about the Belarusian products. The total number of participants was over 70 companies.
During the videoconference, information was provided on the activities of the National Marketing Center and the opportunities provided to foreign companies to find potential partners and enter the Belarusian market.
Following the event, the parties exchanged contacts and commercial information, agreed to develop further cooperation.
