Signing of the Roadmap for cooperation between the National Marketing Center and the Hungarian HEPA Agency

On July 23, in order to implement the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding, Director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Sadokho and Director General of the Hungarian HEPA Agency Balasz Hendrich signed a Roadmap for cooperation in the format of a video conference.

The roadmap provides for the implementation of measures aimed at assisting Belarusian and Hungarian businesses in organizing joint projects, holding business events, exchanging relevant trade, economic and investment information, using the capabilities of the Export.by Export Information Support Portal by Hungarian companies, etc.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Belarus Zsolt Chutora, First Secretary of the Hungarian Embassy Andrea Szegedi and HEPA staff.

During the meeting, the participants discussed a number of issues on the implementation of the Roadmap, including the possibility of organizing business events for the Hungarian delegation by the National Marketing Center within the framework of the upcoming Belarusian agro-industrial week "Belagro-2020", which will take place in September this year. The Hungarian partners paid special attention to using the capabilities of the Export.by portal to inform Belarusian participants about the achievements of Hungarian agricultural companies.

For reference: HEPA is a government organization subordinate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, whose main goal is to promote the export of small and medium-sized businesses in foreign markets. The agency organizes training seminars, business forums, and also ensures the participation of Hungarian companies in exhibitions abroad.
