A meeting was held at the National Center for Marketing with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Askar Beisenbaev visited the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
During the visit, the ambassador noted that in recent years there has been a positive dynamics in bilateral relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan, including through the signing of the Roadmap for bilateral cooperation and the implementation of a number of measures to support export activities. This allowed to increase the share of Kazakhstan in the total turnover of Belarus from 12% to 15%. The Kazakhstan side is interested in increasing the number of Belarusian products in its market.
“The relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan are traditionally friendly,” said Valery Sadokho, director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He agreed with the positive dynamics of commodity circulation and informed that the commodity distribution network of Belarusian enterprises in Kazakhstan includes about 40 entities created with the participation of Belarusian capital, 8 joint assembly plants are operating. According to statistics from the Export.by portal, more than 770 Belarusian companies are interested in entering the market of Kazakhstan.
The ambassador also got acquainted with the activities and capabilities of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Particular interest was shown in the possibility of cooperation in public procurement. Specialists of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide the Embassy of Kazakhstan with relevant regulations for Kazakhstani companies wishing to participate in procurement procedures in the Republic of Belarus. The subsequent publication of this instruction in the media of Kazakhstan is expected. The parties also agreed to consider the possibility of holding a training seminar on public procurement for the interested companies.
