A meeting with the Ambassador of Hungary was held at the National Marketing Center
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to the Republic of Belarus Zsolt Chutora visited the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
During the visit, the Ambassador emphasized the traditionally friendly relations between the countries and the high bilateral interest shown by business entities in the development of successful trade and economic relations. Thus, a number of Belarusian enterprises in the machine-building industry, such as MTZ Holding, MAZ OJSC, the managing company of the BELAVTOMAZ holding, Belkommunmash Holding, are actively expanding their presence in the Hungarian market.
Valery Sadokho, director of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in turn, noted the even distribution of exports and imports between countries in 2019, high rates of not only raw materials supplies, but also finished goods to the Hungarian market. In particular, the export of railway, tram cars and tractors, as well as the import of medicines, gearboxes and food products.
The ambassador also got acquainted with the activities and capabilities of the National Marketing Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a result of the meeting, taking into account the existing restrictions in foreign economic activity in the context of the spread of coronavirus, an agreement was reached on the development of a calendar of joint events for business representatives in the format of online video conferences. Among the most promising topics is cooperation in the areas of water supply, the production of automotive components, wine and beverages, as well as medical products.
