The issues of organizing the Belarusian exposition at the First China International Import Expo were discussed at the meeting hosted by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Minsk

An expert meeting on the preparation of the Belarusian exposition at the First China International Import Expo in Shanghai was held on July 11, 2018 at the Chinese Embassy in Minsk. The business event was jointly initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Embassy of China.

The event was attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Andrei Dapkiunas, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Agriculture of Belarus, representatives of the National Centre for Marketing, Belarusian state institutions, concerns, enterprises, representatives of the Chinese diaspora and the Association of Chinese entrepreneurs in Belarus.

The Director of the National Centre for Marketing Valery Sadokho introduced the concept of the Belarusian exposition at the Exhibition in China. The presentation of the main exported goods and the degustation of Belarusian food products were organized in the framework of the business event. The participants exchanged opinions as for optimal ways to organize the participation of Belarusian producers in the exhibition, as well as prospects for promoting Belarusian products in China.

Background information:
The First China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai on November 5-10, 2018. More than 1600 companies from 120 countries are planning to participate in this event. The National exposition of Belarus, as well as the stands of numerous Belarusian producers will be presented at the exhibition. The National Centre for Marketing is the organizer of the Belarusian exposition at the Exhibition.
