An edition of the magazine «Market conditions» dedicated to Indonesia was published
Trade turnover between Belarus and Indonesia has increased from $ 1.8 million in 1995 to $ 158.3 million in 2017 that shows mutual interest of both countries in development of trade and economic cooperation. Indonesia is one of the most attractive countries in the South Eastern Asia due to vigorous growth of its economy and large population.
The latest issue of the magazine "Market conditions” contains information about the products, which can be exported to Indonesia, the benefits of cooperation in industry and the peculiarities of doing business in this country.
In 2017, Indonesia imported goods worth of $ 142.3 billion. The main suppliers to Indonesia were China, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand. The National Center for Marketing has prepared the market review, where has specified the major categories of goods imported by Indonesia, sales geography and average prices for products, as well as promising Belarusian goods and services to be exported to this country.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia Valery Kolesnik told about the high-demand goods in Indonesia, possible joint projects and the peculiarities of work with Indonesian partners.
According to him, Indonesian agricultural market is growing rapidly and the country is interested in buying Belarusian agricultural machinery. In addition, bilateral cooperation in the food area is a high priority.
Valery Sadokho, the Director of the National Center for Marketing and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, said that Belarusian companies should take a closer look not only Indonesia, but also other ASEAN countries. In his article he explained, how EAEU countries, through cooperation with ASEAN, can expand their presence in the global value chains, and specified the prospects for increasing export of Belarusian goods and services to ASEAN countries.
